About This Blog

Thanks for stopping by the blog
of singer/songwriter Dan Coyle;
I'll keep this little gem up to date
while on the road, writing,
recording,
and meeting my fans
at shows.
This may give you some
insight
into just how weird I can be -
and
all of the weird things I enjoy.
There will be stories, poems,
rants,
musings, and other forms of
writing
that my feeble vocabulary
cannot contend with.

Hope you
enjoy!

Brooklyn, NYC, and Rochester
The sight of familiar faces, a language that I know how to speak, and some nice rest has really given me a great start to 2012 after touring Europe for all of 2011. Although I do miss the continent across the Atlantic, I'm excited for a few "hometown" shows leading up to my nation-wide tour.

I'm kicking off my first shows in the U.S. in my adopted hometown of NYC. After moving here in 2009, I've really grown to love this city (big surprise, right?). So if you're in and around the area, or have friends that are, here's where I'll be very soon:

A "welcome back" show at Two Boots in Brooklyn. This one is all-ages and free! Join the event on facebook and you'll see all of the details there!

My second show is in Manhattan at Fat Baby. This one's being produced by the TurnStyle Music Group on January 26th. You can get the info here.

Then I'll be heading upstate for two actual hometown shows in Rochester, NY!

The first is a Saturday night all-ages show at Boulder Coffee. Join the facebook event and see all of the info there .

The second is at one of the best venues in Rochester, The Bug Jar! It's a Thursday night, and you have to be 18+ to attend. Join the facebook event to see all of the info.

I'm more excited than I can tell you to kick off this 2012 U.S. tour! There are already dates across the country. To see what's upcoming, check the tour schedule.

See you soon!
