This is Finnegan See that beautiful baby above? He’s my new nephew, and his name is Finnegan Joseph, born on September 6th, 2011. Finnegan was born with MIC-CAP syndrome. If you’ve never heard of it, that’s because only 10 children in the world have this disease, including my nephew. Here is a list of some of the symptoms little Finnegan experiences: He is blind and deaf Small head and brain Missing fingernails and toenails Seizure activity every 10 seconds Affected mental capacity Finnegan’s loving parents are doing their best to care for their child, but it is a 24 hour job. His mother had to quit her job, and the family is struggling to support themselves on only the father’s salary because of exorbitant medical bills. They are in danger of losing their house. I have a great desire to help them and to keep this from happening. Here is the plan: From now until January 1st, ALL proceeds from sales of my music store and my subscription site will go to the family to help pay for medical bills and keep a roof over their heads. You can also simply DONATE any sum, large or small, it is appreciated. My goal over the next 6 weeks is to raise $1000 for the family. I’m hoping that is a very low goal and we can have much more to give them, especially for the holiday season. I feel this is very important; our job is to help others. Thank you all so much. |
