So I guess this title is slightly misleading; though not on purpose. On this first day of this new year, I was thinking about my last two shows in Europe on December 21 and 23. It was really the perfect way to end a year-long tour. I'm going to share two videos with you: the first is from my December 21st show in Rome. I played with some amazing local artists who have a band called 2Hurt. Their front man Paolo and violin player Laura, asked if they could play with me on "I Adore You". I wish the sound of the video did it justice, but I think you'll get the idea. The
second video is from my final show of 2011 on December 23rd in Pavia,
Italy. After I was finished, the band that opened for me asked if they
could hop up on stage and play a cover of "Knockin' On Heaven's Door"
with me. Heck Yes! This got me to thinking; whatever you do, start it with passion, see it through, and finish with a bang! Happy 2012 everybody. |
