About This Blog Thanks for stopping by the blog of singer/songwriter Dan Coyle; I'll keep this little gem up to date while on the road, writing, recording, and meeting my fans at shows. This may give you some insight into just how weird I can be - and all of the weird things I enjoy. There will be stories, poems, rants, musings, and other forms of writing that my feeble vocabulary cannot contend with. Hope you enjoy! Main Blog Page | September 5, 2011 Pack It Up and Pack ‘Em In With the recent completion of my new album “From Prague to Paris” it is once again time to hit the roads of Europe and promote, promote, promote! “From Prague to Paris” has been recorded, mixed, mastered, and sent to the manufacturer. From the manufacturer it goes to the distributor, who sends it to iTunes, Amazon, Rhapsody, and everywhere else you can buy music on the internet...as well as to all of the wonderful folks who have already ordered the album. Just hold tight and you will have the new album by the end of the month. The good news is, even though we’re very busy on the road, I’ve updated my music and merchandise store with tee shirts, hoodies, a songbook, CD combo deals and more! See my new store at http://dancoyle.com/7.html Over the next couple of months I’m playing 30-something shows around Europe, and we’ve kicked it off in Hamburg, Germany. It’s a very cool town with a lot of music and art. I was lucky enough to be asked to do an in-studio performance and interview on their public radio station (Germany’s equivalent to NPR in the US) TIDE 96. I’ve included the performance and interview below for your listening pleasure. The parts where I’m not playing or being interviewed have been cut out, since most of you probably don’t speak German (me neither)! Enjoy the recording, it was a lot of fun -- if you’re in Germany, Poland, Denmark, The Netherlands, France, Hungary, or Austria, come to one of my shows this fall! Info at http://dancoyle.com/8 |
